A nice base for a solo trip to Greater Manchester, we found the hotel welcoming from the outset thanks to a very friendly reception from the hostess. Parking was easy, the street was quiet, and it was only a 5-minute walk to catch one of the many buses into Manchester city centre, with Old Trafford also easy to reach. Even after the match, we were happy to walk back, despite it being past 10pm.
